1. Who you are agreeing with

PurrPlay is operated by Djasha Tech FZE, a Free Zone Establishment registered in the United Arab Emirates(“we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and Djasha Tech FZE. References to PurrPlay mean the mobile application and this website at purrplay.djasha.me.

2. What PurrPlay is

PurrPlay is a mobile application providing a library of recorded feline vocalisations, a journal for logging how your cat reacts to them, a training clicker, and profiles for individual cats. It is an entertainment and record-keeping tool.

3. What PurrPlay is not

PurrPlay is not a veterinary or diagnostic product. It does not assess, diagnose or treat any medical or behavioural condition. Nothing in the app or on this website is veterinary advice. If you have any concern about your cat's health or behaviour, consult a qualified veterinarian.

PurrPlay does not translate cat vocalisations and makes no claim to tell you what an individual cat means by a particular sound.

4. Responsible use

You agree to use PurrPlay in a way that does not cause distress to any animal. Specifically, the conflict, distress and mating categories are provided for recognition and education, and must not be played at an animal to provoke a reaction. You are responsible for monitoring your cat during use and stopping if it shows signs of stress.

5. Accounts

You need an account to sync data across devices. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

6. Purchases

Premium features are sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play, and those stores' terms govern payment, renewal and refunds. Cancel or manage a subscription through your store account, not through us. We cannot issue refunds directly for store purchases.

7. Content and licence

The sound library, artwork, branding and software are owned byDjasha Tech FZE or its licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own private purposes. You may not redistribute, resell or republish the audio library, in whole or in part.

Content you create — cat profiles, reaction logs, uploaded images — remains yours. You grant us only the licence needed to store it and show it back to you.

8. Availability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may change, and we may suspend or discontinue parts of the service. Where we can reasonably give notice of a material change, we will.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PurrPlay is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

10. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we will notify you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use PurrPlay after that constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the free zone in which Djasha Tech FZE is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of your own country of residence.
